Director
Kerry is a Biology graduate and former founder of a successful software business, with over 15 years of experience in the news and data industries. A self-proclaimed generalist with an eye for detail, he enjoys leveraging his varied skillset to drive impact across every function of a business. When he's not enjoying quality time with his young family, Kerry can often be found agonising over the fortunes of his beloved Arsenal F.C.

Nick Arnott
Director
Nick is a serial business founder and angel investor with a degree in Applied Computing. He has founded a number of successful businesses and now invests in start-ups across a diverse range of sectors. He loves running, playing football and tennis and also enjoys watching pretty much any sport but can often be found at Craven Cottage watching Fulham. He’s also a keen (if not the most knowledgeable!) quizzer being a member of two local quiz teams.

David Robinson
Director
David is an Astrophysics and Scientific Computing grad with a knack for solving tough problems and a passion for efficiency. He has explored various roles across different sectors, always with a focus on leveraging technology for better solutions. Outside of work, David loves the Yorkshire outdoors, whether he's hiking, biking, or walking his dog.

The story of quizified
So how did Quizified come about? One of the founders, Nick, is a dedicated member of a local quiz team and loves playing quizzes but unfortunately isn’t very good at them. He’s great on 80’s pop music and sport but anything outside of that and his knowledge is rather patchy to say the least! So he decided to do something about it and try and plug some of the gaps in his knowledge.
His strategy was to find a quiz app to help him. A quick browse of the app store threw up several options which had him feeling optimistic but having downloaded a number, it was clear none of them offered quite what he was looking for. Some touted the fact they used AI to generate the questions as a real benefit (a quick look at the reviews suggested this might not be a benefit after all!) or they were just too complicated with power ups, bonus coins and other things he didn’t understand. The worst were so covered in adverts you could hardly read the questions and some didn’t give the answer if you got it wrong!
When Nick told his ex-colleagues and friends Kerry and David of his predicament they were quick to point out a solution. ‘Why don’t we create an app ourselves?’. And thus Quizified was born. The premise? A daily general knowledge quiz which is easy to play, informative, with questions of varying levels to suit all ages, and created by humans. It covers a wide range of subjects from music to current affairs and also provides facts about each answer with an emphasis on learning a little as you play each day.
